Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By booking with Ecuador Direct Travel any of our products or services, contacting us or signing up to our newsletter, you’re agreeing to these terms and conditions. This is a legal agreement.

This policy contains information in order to satisfy your booking or purchase requirements. It also outlines the security measures we take in order to protect your privacy and gives certain assurances on things that we will not do.
When you contact us via our web page or book a tour, holiday, package, hotel, flight, rent a car, travel insurance or other adventure, we collect your name, email address and phone number.
Depending on the tour or adventure you are booking with us we sometimes collect certain additional personal information such as your birthdate, emergency contact details, diet requirements, shoe size, travel interests and other necessary information in order to comply with legal requirements or to help provide you with an enjoyable journey.
All foreigners booking our products and/or services must provide us with copies of their passports.
As a company policy we also monitor customer traffic patterns proving our customers a feedback form which enables us to improve the service we provide.

We will use your personal information for a number of purposes, including:
• to advise you of any changes or problems with your booking
• to help us to administer services and products which we offer
• to write or telephone you (including electronic mail) with information about our services and products
• to bill and collect money owed to us
• to send you our newsletter with information about our services, products, offers and new
• to update personal details we hold about you

Payment of full deposite price of any of our products and/or services constitutes acceptance of these booking terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

All prices on our website and brochures are shown in US Dollars which is the official currency in Ecuador.
Prices are correct at the time of publication; however as prices fluctuate, tour package prices and availability will change accordingly.
The prices shown for our sample itineraries give you a guideline as to cost, though obviously this will vary with any changes you decide to make.
Prices included on this website are the lowest available prices per person based upon an adult in shared twin room / double room occupancy unless otherwise indicated. Prices can fluctuate depending on a variety of circumstances including the desired class, applicable single supplements, number of people traveling on any given tour or travel package or the season or date on which you wish to travel. If you are traveling with children the price can vary depending on their age.
In order to qualify for V.A.T 14% exemption all foreigners booking our products and/or services must provide us with copies of their passports.
Prices include all inclusions detailed, but do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines or other alcoholic drinks, passport and visa fees, travel insurance, hotel room service, phone calls if not detailed in the package inclusions.

After you request to book a product and/or service on our website we will give you a full quotation for your itinerary either in person or send it by email. Any special terms will be stated on the booking and included in your confirmation.
We advise clients to accept our proposal by paying the stated deposit or full price as soon as possible after receipt in order to make a firm booking so as to avoid price changes and/or disappointment. You will be notified by email within 48 hours whether your booking has been successful. It is your responsibility to contact us if your confirmation email has not been received.

The payment schedule and/or deposit required are variable and depend on the specific product and/or service being purchased. Your payment schedule will be specified on your invoice at the time of booking. Full payment must be completed a week ahead before you start your tour, unless you are booking a last minute tour which must be paid right away.
If any balance remains unpaid or is not paid on schedule, travel documentation will not be issued and we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges as set out below.
Higher or immediate deposits or full prepayment may be required to confirm bookings or to guarantee availability and/or rates during high season dates such as Christmas, New Year and other holidays. These may be non-refundable in case of cancellation.

Deposits for and/or payments of any of our products and/or services can be made using any of the following payment methods. All payments must be made in US Dollars and you will be responsible for any bank charges:

This section explains our cancelation policy, amendment policy and refund policy.

• Overall our services are managed by total pay limit, not refundable in case of cancelation or change Passengers that don´t show up (“no show”) during the services acquired will get the 100% due In allusion to Flight tickets the booking will remain active in the system for 24 hours’ time. Passing this time we might have to rebook the flight

In order to block groups booking it is a precondition to pay a discharge which is not refunded in case of cancelation.
In case of nature hazard, adverse weather, fire, governments or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, terrorist acts, strikes, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines or out of normal proceeding, charges for cancellation will vary according to the situation. In many cases will depend on the terms and conditions of our operator´s providers.
Ecuador Direct Travel strongly recommends you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances.
Hotel reservations
In all cases, once a hotel booking is confirmed, passenger is subject to the terms and conditions of that hotel’s cancellation policy.
Airline reservations
Ecuador Direct Travel cannot be held responsible for problems arising with airfares, air schedules, seat assignments or any circumstance unmanaged.

Ecuador Direct Travel acts as a booking agent for some products or services provided by independent suppliers which means that Ecuador Direct travel purchases transportation, accommodation, restaurant and other services authorized and subject to our control.
Ecuador Direct Travel is not liable for any rash, personal injury or property loss and/or damage that may occur due to security policy´s omission.
• Adventure activities
It is passenger’s duty to ensure to have the physical condition to participate in activities considering the peril that involved each of them.
• Health
Should you fall ill or have any health concerns you must communicate them with one of our agents before booking and/or travel in order to take caution. For vaccination information please check with your medical practitioner.

No insurance is included in any of our products and services. We can provide information about travel insurance on request.
