Nature and Culture at the main port of the country

Wildlife is just crossing the street, in every corner in Ecuador. Guayaquil is not the exception. Learn and get to know about the nature at the coastal region.

ITINERARY

First we visit the cemetery with its impressive mausoleums and tombs made from Carrara marble by Italian Artists   during the cocoa boom in the early 20th century. In ”Parque Histórico Guayaquil” you will learn a lot about nature and culture of the coastal region of Ecuador. On beautifully landscaped boardwalks you can stroll through an animal park in the middle of the mangrove swamps on the banks of the river Daule.  You will see endangered species such as tapirs, spider monkeys, crocodiles, sloths, parrots and much more. In the cultural section of the park you see original town houses of Guayaquil dating from the cocoa boom. Typical snack included.
